Coding as a beginner

Coding was a challenge because I was new to it. There are a lot of rules in coding that I needed to learn, for example syntax, if I type the wrong character then I get syntax errors and everything fails.
App design was difficult because It was new to me. I had an understanding of what I wanted but I did not know how to express it on the Mockups.
Playgrounds were a success for me because It helped me learn the coding language Swift by having fun. Playgrounds is an app that teaches you how to code in the language Swift with a banana looking creature called Byte. Byte has to go through paths to get to his destination and you have to help him on the way by coding.
Storyboard was how I designed my app by technically coding. Storyboard is less strict than coding the app by writing the code out. It allows the creator to add the items on the screen manually and see how the design looks.

Earthquake Detector
I wanted to implement something that had to do with coding as well as I wanted to work with something that could help the real world

Why Los Angeles' Early Warning System For Earthquakes Was Not Activated On Thursday : NPR

I have learned things across the journey like: Coding in C++ and programming an LCD
I have been able to - get into parts of the earthquake in coding and deepening my understanding.

Coding - mentality on coding changed

My biggest challenge has probably been debugging and or the Earthquake coding aspect of it

Before Magic during 8th grade I took up robotics a major difference i saw from my robotics season and a semester at Magic was the fact that Magic was more coding heavy and robotics was more building heavy.
