To connect prior knowledge & get them thinking ...

We built up student skills and capacity

  • Scratch Cards
    (12 essential concept cards with code examples)
  • Scratch Challenges
    (Small challenges that involved becoming familiar with the Scratch programming environment)
  • Provided a cheat sheet for game mechanics
      • random moving characters
      • sensing collision
      • sensing color, mouse & keyboard control
