- Scroll down to Overview and read and summarize the paragraph about obituaries.

- In Sources for Obituaries briefly review the items in the bullet list.

- Scroll down to the paragraph just above Obituaries by State. This has some good search tips, so read the paragraph or summarize it, and then discuss.

- In Extracting Valuable Information review the bullet points to show types of genealogical information often found in obituaries.

- In Locating an Obituary, What You Need review the three bullet points.

- In Newspapers briefly review the bullet points for finding newspapers with obituaries.

- In The Negatives discuss each of the bullet points and their importance. City directories may be an alternative to big-city newspapers for finding urban ancestors.
