“PANAYOT VOLOV” Primary School in Varna, Bulgaria

That`s the building. I spend my time here from Monday till Friday, from 8:00am to 1:30pm.

Our school has 130 years` history. It is the oldest in Varna.
Can you imagine that all of my family have studied at that school – my mum, my dad, my aunt. Even some of the teachers are the same ☺.

That`s one of the school`s symbols – the bell.

The school year in our country begins on 15^th September and finishes on 31th May for the students 1st – 4^th grade.
It`s a bit longer for the others, it is finishes to 15^th June.

We usually have 6 lessons a day.
One lesson lasts forty-five minutes.
The breaks are 10 minutes and the looong break - thirty minutes. It`s time to have breakfast, a rest and a walk in the schoolyard.

and literature

English language - 4 lessons a week

Mathematics - every day – 5 lessons a week

History - 2 lessons a week

Physical Education - 4 lessons a week

Music - 2 lessons a week

Art - 2 lessons a week

Inf. Technology - 1 lesson a week

Wow…Look here. That is the class register. It`s in our Maths teacher`s hands.

Here all the teachers write our marks, absences and notes about our discipline.
The marks are from 2 up to 6.
We have two terms during the school year and Christmas and Easter holidays.
