When Can I Start?

  • Campmasters: Welcome emails with login info have been sent.
  • Didn't get it? Contact Kayla Rogers at khrogers@gmail.com or text 336-978-1649.
  • Start Selling: Take Orders & Online Sales begin now through October 20th.
  • Show and Sell: Sign-Up Genius; see 9/4 email for the link. First event: September 14th, Last: October 20th.
  • Log Sales & Collect Payment: All transactions must be logged in Campmasters and take payment at the time of sale.
  • Payment: Bring one check for your Scout’s sales to the meeting on October 22nd.

Why Pack 934 Scouts Sell Popcorn?

  • It Funds 60% of our Program – This includes advancement and recognition awards, derby kits and pack events. We cannot function without the fundraiser and it keeps costs low for everyone.
  • It Builds Confidence & Leadership Skills – Fundraising teaches scouts goal setting, public speaking, confidence around adults and motivation.
  • It allows us to Live Scout Values - Practice being trustworthy, friendly, and kind while meeting new people.
  • Support Camp Raven Knob & Old Hickory Council - Help fund our camp and council activities. Every sale makes a difference!

Sales Goals – Pack Goal - $55,000

  • Weekly prizes for the top seller from each Den starting September 17th until October 22nd. **All transactions must be logged in Campmasters by 7pm Sunday to qualify for the week’s top seller prize.**

  • At the November pack meeting the top seller from each Den earns a certificate of recognition and the top 3 sellers in the Pack earn a trophy!

  • Goal: $500 per Scout

  • Sell $1,000: Pack covers your recharter fees in March!

  • Tip: Combine online, in-person, and door-to-door sales to reach your goals!

How We Get There? � 3 ways to sell

  • 1. Show and Sell Events (Sign-up Genius & Square app; Pack934 will enter Scout credit)

  • 2. Take Orders aka Door to Door sales (Scout/Parent log in Campmasters)
    • Scouts go door-to-door with order forms in their neighborhoods.
    • High success rate (3 out of 5 doors).
    • Great for family, friends, and coworkers.

  • 3. Direct to Consumer aka Online Orders (Scout/Parent log in Campmasters)
    • Scouts share a personal link.
    • Customers order online, products delivered by mail.

Pack 934 Show and Sell Weekend Class A Events

  • When: Weekends, September 21st - October 20th
  • Where: Ace Hardware (Robinhood) & Lowes Foods (Lewisville & Robinhood) & Sam's Club (Hanes Mall) & Tractor Supply (Clemmons)
  • Shifts: 2-hour slots between 10am-6pm, 2 Scouts per shift
  • Why: Best way to make sales and earn credit for prizes; credit split evenly among Scouts working that day
  • Important: Only sign up if you can commit. All slots must be filled to avoid dead time. Wear your Class A uniform.
  • In 2023, scouts earned between $75-$200 per shift.

How to Enter Take Orders

  • Log in to Campmasters using the sign on link provided via email.
  • Select ‘Take an Order’ to log your door-to-door sales and collect payment via credit/debit card.

  • Select the items you would like to add to cart.
  • Then View Cart
  • Scroll down & key the buyer’s name and select your payment option ‘Credit Card’ to take a cashless payment.
    • (Preferred so you do not have to worry about keeping up with Cash!)

  • Review the order details here. Click the back arrow to make changes.
  • Have the customer pay for their order using one of the three methods (QR code, text a link or you can manually type in the information for them).
  • Scroll down & Click Place Order & you are done. No need to bring a check since payment went to the pack directly.

Direct to Consumer aka Online Orders

  • Direct to Consumer includes shipping and delivery fees.
  • It is more expensive but often a good option if you are unable to deliver to an individual directly.
  • In Campmasters from the Dashboard select ‘Promote Yourself Online’ and copy/paste, text or email the link to your Scout’s unique seller site.
  • Best for Long Distance family and friends

Now let’s talk about Sales Strategies

  • Show Scout Pride: Wear your clean uniform and share why you love Scouting and what the fundraiser supports.

  • Be Professional: Be polite, respectful, and remember you're representing Scouting.

  • Set a Goal: Have a clear sales goal, whether it's for an activity or a prize.

  • Practice: Know your script, greet people confidently, and be ready to address common objections like "no cash" or "too many calories.“

  • Offer Options: Know your products and suggest military or food bank donations for those who don't want popcorn.

  • Stay Positive: Keep asking—every "no" brings you closer to a "yes!“

  • Be Ready: Get a good night's sleep, eat well, and wear something fun to start conversations. Stay hydrated and keep your energy up!

November 14th – Popcorn Take Orders Arrive (more details to come)

December 3rd – Prize pickup at the Rock ‘n Jump Party (tentative)
