From Çarşamba �We have made almost 2000 km to reach Lazdijai

Çarşamba is a town and district of Samsun Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, in the center of the Çarşamba Plain.

It is the second largest district of the Samsun province

ÇARŞAMBA

The town is divided into two parts as West side and east side by Yesilirmak (the Green River). The town is situated on the both sides of Yesilirmak River,

Carsamba has substantial natural resources, and its history dates back to 4.000 BCE. Carsamba stands on a fertile land where from nut to watermelon, a number of agricultural products can be produced in all 4 different seasons.

ÇARŞAMBA FEN LİSESİ

We are a boarding project public high school of science.

We have 36 teachers, 4 of whom are supervisors, 380 students at four different grades, 12 support personnel working in varied departments at school.

The school is built on a 7800 m2 garden, and continues to serve within the structure including the main school building, male and female student hostel, a gym and a staff housing building. The main building of our school consists of 18 classrooms,

We have three main buildings in one garden.

In the school year 2022-2023

we educate about 380 students (aged 14-18) in the exemplified forms of schooling.

Our students come from the urban/rural environment

• 60% from Samsun Province
• 20% from Çarşamba District
• 20% from Neighboring Villages

• They have different economic and social status.
• 5% of all children in school come from divorced families
• 25% of students live at the dormitory.

Student activities include sports tournaments, service clubs, arts organizations, academic, and literary publications.

Our school has a variety of clubs which are important part of student activities and connected to the curriculum such as Literature, Science, Foreign language, Coding and Robotics and Art Club.

School has many national and European labels in eTwinning. �The school is awarded by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and exhibited in TEKNOFEST.

Our school has run numerous eTwinning projects on various subject , which have been awarded National and European Quality Labels
