  • Parents are the first teachers of children and they have a key role in shaping their character.

  • Here are a few guidelines for you to help us shape your child in a better way.

Readiness for the New Academic Year

  • Students must arrive at school on time.

  • Wearing the school uniform and ID card daily is mandatory.

  • The ID card must have the student’s latest photo in the school uniform.

  • Cover and label all textbooks and notebooks, and submit them to the Class Teacher on the first day of school.

  • Students should bring two sharpened pencils, one eraser and a pouch daily. Nursery & LKG students should bring crayons, while UKG students should bring coloured pencils daily to class.

  • Ensure that all worksheets sent home are kept in the folder provided.

  • The classwork book will be sent regularly for your reference and must be returned on the next working day.

  • On designated Colour Days, Nursery students should come dressed in the specified colour as informed through the diary/WhatsApp. (e.g., Red Colour Day - wear a red outfit).

  • On designated Special Theme Days, LKG and UKG students should come dressed according to the specified theme as informed through the diary / WhatsApp.

  • It is mandatory for the parents to install mobile app.

Hygiene and Daily Essentials

  • Personal hygiene and cleanliness should always be maintained.

  • Nails must be kept short and clean.

  • Girls are not allowed to wear makeup and jewellery. They must tie or plait long hair, using only black hairbands or hair clips. Small stud earrings are permitted.

  • Boys must keep their hair short and neat.

  • Send healthy food daily with a napkin, fork/spoon, and avoid glass bottles/boxes. Label all items like the school bag, water bottle, tiffin box, folder, and sweater with the child’s name in permanent ink.

  • Ensure the child is properly toilet-trained and send an extra dress and undergarment in the school bag each day as a precaution.

Birthday Celebration

  • On their birthday, they may wear a simple and comfortable dress that is easy to carry throughout the day.

  • Avoid high-heeled sandals, long dresses, or jewellery.

  • Please send small chocolates to share with classmates.

School Policies on Personal Items and Responsible Behaviour

  • Children should not bring mobile phones, digital watches, toys, ornaments, or other fancy and expensive items to school, as the school will not be responsible for any loss.

  • If by chance/mistake, a child brings home something that does not belong to them, such as a pencil, eraser, toy, or book, it should be explained to them and returned the next day.

  • Please encourage children to respect school property by refraining from writing, carving, or scratching on walls and furniture, and by not removing items from the bulletin boards.

Attendance

  • Please do not send your ward to school if he/she is sick.

  • Parents must provide a note in the diary for absence, even for a single day. Leave will only be granted for valid reasons upon prior written application or email from the parent to the class teacher.

  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required for promotion. Extended absences should be avoided.

For long-term or medical leave, parents must email

the Supervisor, with the class teacher in CC or submit

a written letter to the class teacher.

  • Assessments will not be reconducted for absentee students.

  • Any missed classwork must be completed at home by the student.

  • Please check your ward’s school diary, email, class WhatsApp group and mobile app for important updates and follow the given guidelines.

  • Avoid deleting WhatsApp messages or enabling the disappearing message option for future reference.

  • Ensure you note and securely store your ward’s school email and ERP login credentials for easy access.

  • Using the Parents’ Login ID, you can check your child’s attendance, results, and other details.

  • Once the Transfer Certificate (TC) is issued, parents will no longer have access to the ERP system.

Parent Teacher Meet

  • Attendance on all PTM days is essential to stay updated on your ward’s progress. Please make sure to attend every PTM as per the scheduled dates.

  • If parents wish to meet the Class Teacher other than the day of PTM, it can be done on working days between 01:00 pm and 01:30 pm. An appointment must be scheduled by email at least one day in advance.

  • Parents using private vehicles must inform the Class Teacher of any change in the driver through a diary note.

  • Kindly adhere to the school timings as mentioned below -

Regular Time - 7:40 am to 12:30 pm

Ramadan Time - 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

  • Please ensure that you collect your child by 12:30 pm daily, as students will not be kept in school after this time to avoid disruption to other activities.

  • For the safety and security of your child, please remind them to behave in a disciplined manner while on the school bus, in private vehicles, and on the road.

  • What is a Holistic Progress Card (HPC)?

  • The Holistic Progress Card (HPC) is an

important initiative introduced by the CBSE

under the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).

  • The HPC helps track a child’s progress in many

areas, giving parents, teachers, and students a

clearer picture of their strengths and areas for

improvement.
