NEW MOON Films (dba The Wings of Destiny) is a 501 3c non-profit organization founded by impact producers. We work with npo leaders, creative activists & filmmakers around the world on projects that promote United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

NEW MOON Films supports creative activism to generate practical real world impact towards United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This includes film & tv production, events production, multimedia campaigning, impact & partner support.
We facilitate change by:
Focusing on ethically oriented film community & creating international co-producing and networking opportunities and empowering our community of filmmakers and creators around the world as storytellers, change makers, and philanthropists with tools & partnerships. Working with government and private programs, building partnerships to develop creative community resources. Creating a branch between the media industry and community leaders to protect the champions working to improve conditions for humans and the environment everywhere.
Through developing access to education & modern technology, we now have the unprecedented opportunity to empower individuals to tell their stories without political or financial bias and to be a resource for viewers seeking global education and inspiration. We can truly communicate unbiased personal truths and develop a deeper mutual understanding as human beings.
Our projects facilitate change through education, both by educating the public and providing education to our community of producers to continue their purposeful works.
With the added support of technology, including social media, ai integrations, AR and VR, we can facilitate practical & efficient change and improve communication & empathy. Projects can approach the ability to “look” through someone else’s eyes. Now anyone with a smartphone in their pocket has a camera that can capture stories, record moments, and reach the world - a luxury formerly accessible only to the privileged.
NEW MOON Films is an impact producing team comprised of leading international impact producers, each bringing a unique set of skills and expertise to the table.
Their mission is to drive impact for purpose-oriented projects, creating measurable social change through the power of storytelling, and associated practical efficiencies aligned with the filmmaking process. They work with filmmakers, NGOs, and philanthropists to leverage the power of film and media to promote social justice, environmental sustainability, and human rights.
The team has worked on a diverse range of impactful projects, from award-winning documentaries to social impact campaigns. They offer a wide range of services, including impact strategy development, fundraising, outreach and engagement, and partnership development.
With a deep commitment to equity and inclusion, the team seeks to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and challenge dominant narratives. They prioritize collaboration, working closely with their clients and partners to co-create impactful campaigns and initiatives.

FESTIVAL FELLOWSHIP & EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP SERIES
Some of the greatest Filmmakers in the world are currently limited by financial barriers that render them out of reach to coproduction communities and opportunities. Our Filmmaker Fellowship, one of NEW MOON's most successful programs, was created to help change that.
We bring emerging and established artists to leading creative communities, host daily conversations, create expert led training exercises, and connect them with networking opportunities.

SAMIA
Based on the novel "Don't Tell Me You're Afraid" by Giuseppe Cattazella, ‘Samia’ is the story of Samia Omar Yusuf, a young Somali athlete who rose to competed in the Olympics before tragically passing away while being trafficked in 2013. The book portrays the challenges Samia faces under persecution for running without a hijab (including the murder of her father), and her journey to escape the violence and oppression of Somalia.
An inspiring and emotional tale of perseverance and courage in the face of adversity that likewise stands against the individuals that sought to silence Samia through violence. Together we promise that Samia’s legacy will never be forgotten.

A documentary series that dives into the hearts and minds of artists that are creating to make an impact. Exploring the purposes of art, the processes of its creation, and the impact artists seek to have on others through their work. By chronicling the creation of a meaningful and impactful piece of cinema, this documentary seeks to fully immerse the audience in the mindset of the artist and allow them to engage with the issues each artist seeks to address.

We are a charitable organization devoted to creating purposeful, impactful content. Contributions are tax deductible through our New York Based 501 3c. These donations can be sanctioned for specific or overall projects.
We deeply appreciate your donations and want to do everything we can to say thank you. All projects include budgets for 2-3 years of distribution including premier, we look for synergistic opportunities in line with distribution to support our partners for each project.

Projects must support multiple United Nations SDGs & be designed overall for impactful purposeful change. Individuals should make sure that projects consider contributions toward the nonprofit organization and its ongoing work. A minimum equity contribution of 5-10% is required by most projects. Resources are prioritized based on degree of investment.
