National Travel and Regional Travel

  • SCVA($75) and AAU($20) Registration.
  • Monthly SCVA Tournaments near Anaheim.
  • Two out of state tournaments e.g. Phoenix, Las Vegas, Hawaii or Florida.
  • Higher Fees.
  • Players will focus on game play, strategy, high level competition, & exposure to college recruiters.
  • Practice 2-3 days per week, often more rigorous drills & conditioning. Practice calendar will be released in late October.
  • SCVA allows 8 to 15 players per team, we prefer 10-12.
  • Players must attend all out of state tournaments.
  • Players are exposed to colleges recruiters.
  • Season ends in June, 2025.
  • SCVA($75) Registration.

  • All SCVA mandatory & championships tournaments ONLY.
  • Lower Fees.

Local Program

  • Tournaments at San Diego Volleyball Club in Rancho Bernardo.
  • 5-6 local tournaments.
  • Fewer forms and lower fees.
  • Players will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball, experience the sport, learn positions, rules, etc.
  • Practice twice per week, drills focus on the learning the core volleyball skills. Practice calendar will be released in late October.
  • PBVBC fields 10-11 players per team.
  • Tournament expectations - review the parent handbook.
  • Season ends in May, 2025 at the last tournament.

SCVA Commitment & Medical Forms (Travel)

  • Parent goes to the link and completes all the required fields on the form.
    • There will be a DROPDOWN of Club Names for the parent to choose from which will in turn auto-select the club email address.
  • Parent then receives an email to complete all electronic, time-stamped signatures.
    • This email should be received within a minute of submitting the form data. It has been tested to see the timeframe.
  • Upon completion of the required signatures, the parent and the selected club is emailed completed documents that will be sent as a pdf in the name of the player.
  • If your child makes a travel team we will send you more information about forms.

  • Print, complete and return at uniform fitting day.
  • We highly encourage you to bring form completed to faster the process at registration at uniform fitting day.
  • We will have extra copies for families who can’t print the forms.

    • Wednesday, July 31st - Aug 2nd, from 5-8pm
      • Time slot and days will be sent via email
      • Location: 6225 Progressive Ave. Building 100, Suite B, SD CA 92145
      • Select jersey number = first come, first serve. We won't reserve numbers via email.
    • Local Teams: 2 jerseys, 1 spandex, 1 backpack, 1 practice shirt, & 1 jacket.
    • Travel Teams: 3 jerseys, 1 spandex, 1 backpack, 1 practice shirt, & 1 jacket.
      • Returning players will be able to keep their jersey number if selected for the same team. Players moving up might not be able to keep their same numbers due to collisions.

Payment Plans

Refunds and Injuries

  • Reminder to carefully review the player parent handbook

  • Refunds: Camps, Clinics, Local, and Travel Program fees are non refundable. Fees cannot be refunded as each program/team has limited availability. Once a program is full, other players do not have the opportunity to sign up. Additionally, registration fees are used to pay for overhead and operational expenses in advance. We count on your commitment based on your registration.
  • Unfortunately, we do not refund as a result of injuries.
  • Parents are responsible for the season cost upon commitment.

Sibling Discounts

  • 1st child is normal price, 2nd & 3rd are ½ price.
  • Can be combined with boys, girls, travel and local, during overlapping seasons only.
  • Are not applicable to season deposits.
  • Scholarships can’t be combined with sibling discounts.

High School Student-Athlete Scholarships

Step 1: Please complete the application form. Incomplete applications can not be processed.

Application Deadlines:

  • High School Girls: August 14
  • High School Boys: September 11

Step 2: Write your essay in a separate document to be uploaded! See below for prompt.

Step 3: Collect and upload the documents to support your application including:

  • Unofficial transcripts and/or last report card indicating current grades/GPA
  • Last Federal income tax filing (usually first two pages indicating annual income and dependents)
  • Student athlete essay from step #2

Step 4: Register for and attend tryouts. All applicants must be present at tryouts. Submitting a scholarship application does not guarantee a spot on a team. Student-athletes must try out and be selected to play for a team to receive a scholarship.
