I’m so excited that you are all here this morning. Welcome to our classroom. We will learn how to do lots of things, like reading books, adding and subtracting numbers, how animals and plants grow and much, much more. Let me tell you a little about me.

I LOVE my family, my church, DIY projects, travel, and reading!

You will eat breakfast in the cafeteria if you want to or you can go straight to the gym and sit quietly(level 0) in your class spot until morning message begins( most of you know how this works from last year)

1. Enter the classroom quietly and calmly
2. Put your “Take Home Folder” in the bin
3. Hang up your backpack and jacket in your locker
4. MkwSharpen your pencil
5. Read the morning message
6. Start your morning work
7. You may talk quietly until you hear the bell ding!

1. You will push in your chair
2. Line up quietly each time we transition out of the room.

3.We will be big boys and girls NO saying I am first, pushing or just being extra for no reason!

4.We will choose a new line leader everyday according to your numbers, and then we will start over once everyone has been the line leader.

1.We will have class bathroom breaks

2. If you need to go outside of the scheduled breaks, raise your hand and I will give you permission to go.

3. You will NOT play in the bathroom or there will be consequences!

(So do the right thing ok!)

1. You will turn in any assignments to the appropriate basket.
2. Will we also turn in assignments on your chromebook (we will talk about that once you have your chromebooks assigned to you.
3. If you don’t complete assignments when they are due(you will receive a incomplete grade)
4. You can make up assignments if your absent.

1.I have no problem with students sitting on the carpet or the chairs in the class library.

2. You need to make sure you have asked for permission.

3. No more than 4 students on the carpet at a time, unless I approve more students.

4. You will take turns so everyone has a chance to sit on the carpet at the appropriate time during the day.

1. Voice level 0 is always expected in the hallway.
2. You may never go past voice level 1(a whisper)
3. If you can’t meet the hallway expectations there will be consequences!

​

1.Line up when told quietly at the door.

2. Walk in a straight line on voice level 0 until we are out on the playground.

3. No bouncing balls up against the buildings.

4. No tackle football(maybe flag once they get the flags)

5. Use the playground equipment the correct way.

6. No fighting or instigating fights between other students in 4th grade classes.

1. You will only access your chromebook if you have been given permission from me.
2. You will not go on websites that have not been approved by Springhill! ( You will deal with Mr. Spikes if you do)
3. You will be assigned new passwords for your chromebook next week( this is to keep you safe)
4. No chromebook will leave this classroom ever!

(unless it is testing time)

• You will make sure your chromebook is on the charger at the end of each day, and in its correct number.

1.Be respectful to all adults and cafeteira staff.

2. Stay on the voice level that your cafeteira monitor tells you.

3. DO NOT SHARE FOOD!

4. Remain seated until you’re told to empty your tray and line up!

5. Do not take any toys or extra things to the cafeteira.

1.If you drop a pencil, piece of paper or anything please pick it up.

2. Make sure after each subject you put your book back in your desk.

3. Keep your desk free of any unnecessary papers that you don’t need.

4. I will reward on Friday’s if you have kept your area clean for the week!

1. Remember to bring your folder to school every day.

2. You will put it in the folder try on the table by the door every morning.

3. Make sure you give any important papers to your parent/guardian.(I will remind you about any important papers)

4. Try to remember to clean out any unnecessary papers.

5. You will also put homework when assigned in your folder and return it to school.

1.NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED IN THIS CLASSROOM(PERIOD) OR ANYWHERE IN THE BUILDING AT SPRINGHILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

2.KEEP IT IN YOUR BACKPACK AT ALL TIMES.

3.IF YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH IT OUT, IT WILL BE TAKEN UP AND A CALL WILL BE MADE TO YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN!

1. I LOVE TO REWARD MY STUDENTS WHEN THEY HAVE MEET EXPECTATIONS.

2. WE WILL HAVE LUNCH IN THE CLASS ON ONE FRIDAY OUT THE MONTH( I WILL BRING GOOD SNACKS) IF YOU EARN IT!

3. I GIVE OUT RANDOM TREATS( IF YOU EARN IT)

4. IF YOU ARE GOOD TO ME, I WILL BE REAL GOOD TO YOU!!!

5. IF YOU ARE NOT MEETING EXPECTATIONS THEN YOU WILL NOT EARN, BUT OTHER STUDENTS WILL STILL BE REWARDED FOR MEETING EXPECTATIONS.

3. Voice level 1 so we can hear your bus numbers and other mods of transportation called over the intercom.
4. We may somedays watch something on the active board during dismissal.
