Welcome to the Proprietary Process template! A good process is the foundation for successful storytelling. A process makes it easier to explain the results you get for your clients whether you’re presenting, on a sales call, or simply conversing.

We’ll build out your process in a few steps:

  1. Explore your key outcome - Find a key result or outcome to build your process around.
  2. Create a success path - Map out the key steps or pillars of your process to get that result.
  3. Prepare stories - You should have stories prepared for each step of the success path.

It’s best to start with the end in mind with your process. What amazing outcomes can you promise? What do people get from working through your process? Write a few ideas and rank them in desirability to your audience.

The Key Story Checklist

Now that you have your key steps to your process outlined, we can start to create some stories. You should have stories and ideas prepared for each step.

On the next slides you’ll see 5 key story elements you can have ready for each teaching point. This ensures you always have something to say whether you’re preparing a presentation, enrollment call or elevator pitch.

You don’t necessarily need to fill out every item on the checklist for every step in your process, but it’s good to make sure you cover each item in the checklist at least once if presenting.

Feel free to make more copies of the following slides if you have more than 3 steps in your process.
