Project Lead the Way is another way to fulfill the Practical Arts requirement (Engineering).

A four year sequence of courses:

  • Introduction to Engineering
  • Principles of Engineering Design
  • Digital Electronics
  • Engineering Design Project

A completion of at least 3 years and passing of the PLTW testing gives opportunities at certain colleges to have advanced standing, scholarships and or credit for Introduction to Engineering Class.

  • Students planning on being management majors in college are strongly encouraged to follow PATHWAY ONE.

** Most courses are offered without a prerequisite for any student wanting to enroll in only one business course throughout their high school career with the exception of Accounting II and Computer Applications II.**

Graduation Requirement

To graduate from the North Hunterdon-Voorhees district, a student must earn 5 credits of a world language �(equivalent to one year of study at the high school).

However, most colleges and universities prefer at least3 years of the same language.

To acquire language proficiency and an appreciation of world cultures, several years of study are highly recommended.

  • Freshman health is designed to help the student deal with the emotional and physical changes that take place during adolescence. This course explores the topics of stress, environmental health, communicable diseases and use and abuse of drugs, tobacco and alcohol.�
