Graduation Requirements
You must meet all of the graduation requirements in order to receive a diploma in May 2028.
To help you meet this goal, be sure to maintain a
College Entrance Requirements
Many Illinois colleges require the following for admission:
English 4 units
Social Studies 3 units
Mathematics 3 units
Laboratory Science 3 units
Electives* 2 units
Research colleges you are interested in early & often, some colleges have very specific entrance requirements.
*U of I Urbana-Champaign requires 3 years of one world language, 4 years are recommended. Other colleges accept electives from Art, Music, Vocational Education or World Language.
Your freshman year is like the foundation of a house you are building---make it strong with as few flaws as possible. Work hard to build a strong academic record from the beginning, so sophomore year you are not fixing mistakes of the past.
Freshman year you must work towards mastering study and organizational skills so the following years are more manageable.

Freshman year we will really focus on getting to know each other. You will identify your learning & productivity style, set SMART goals, learn more about career clusters, organizational & study skills, and identify your strengths.
You will also create a 4 year plan.

Freshman Year Course Requests
1st Semester Dr. Ed.
Request 1st semester PE/Dr. Ed. if your birthday is before
May 1, 2010
You will take Health/PE 2nd semester (beginning in January)
To begin BTW training a student must receive a passing grade in at least eight courses during the previous two semesters.
If you were born on or after May 1, 2010 you cannot enroll in Drivers Ed until summer at the earliest.
