Before I start school we will need
My first day at school
I will say goodbye to my family and walk into the school through the South Street gates.
Some children might be sad, so I can be their friend and make them happy.
I say hello to my new friends.

When I get to school I put my bag down in my class line up area.
When the music plays, I need to line up with my bag on my back in my class line.
My kindergarten classroom
I will learn in my classroom with my teacher and my friends.
In the classroom I will

I will put my hand up if I have a question or want to share something with my teacher.
We use our 5 L’s at school

There are lots of teachers and older students who will show me around the school and help me if I feel lost.

I will line up in a straight line with my class when the bell rings in the morning, after lunch and recess.

At 3.20pm, it is time to go home.
I will be picked up by someone from my
family or I will go to Gowrie. If I go to
Gowrie my family will pick me up later.
I can tell my family about my day when
we meet after school.
