HI FRIENDS!!!
I have seen Hollandaise from so many angles and perspectives. A loyal customer, an employee and east ender. AND I HAVE LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. You would think that waking up at 5:30 for work would be the worst for a masters student, but Hollandaise was truly the highlight of my day. Whether it was working Christmas day with Sandra (which was so much fun, thank you) or bringing my dad for brunch on father's day, you all always took the time to not just serve me amazing food but genuinely check in and do whatever you could to make sure I was good.
I am so proud of you Marisa, thank you for everything you have done for all of us. Hollandaise is more than a space, its a community leader and you did that!!! Thank you for making Hollandaise a space where I know I will be not only welcomed but celebrated. And on top of it all you have the best benny in the city (thank you Josh!) I am so excited for whatever is next for you all because I know the Hollandaise spirit will live on forever.

I feel so lucky to have gotten to know the east end community so well through Hollandaise, and worked with some of the most incredible people along the way. I don’t know another restaurant that holds so much love in such a small space! Thanks for all the “bennories” - I’m going to miss this place so much

One of my favourite things about Hollandaise has always been how invested the team is in the community. Thank you so much to Marisa and Josh for raising money and supporting so many worthy initiatives over the years - I’ll never forget the summer of the watermelon juice fundraiser for Michael Garron Hospital!
My favourite Hollandaise memory is building the biggest build-a-benny on record!! Beef patty base, smoked salmon, peameal bacon, sausages, sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, asparagus - and smoked sesame bbq hollandaise sauce of course!

C and I will miss our drives to the east end to enjoy great food made and served by the best people. Excited to see where the next chapter of your journey takes you! And so thankful for the grocery and take out options you provided the community to support those in the world we've come to live in.

The DinthstThe Diner was not only our favourite date spot, but also where we’d bring family and friends to try delicious brunch food and share this very special part of our story together. For the past 2 years, the Hollandaise has given us great eats and most of all, great friends. Thank you for everything and best of luck in the future. We ❤️ you!
