Working Guidelines for AI at Ednovate

Driving these initial guidelines are the values of safety, integrity and trust

Integrity

Cite use of AI when using to generate or modify materials. Describe how AI was used to learn deeper or enhance work.

Equity

Equitable access to Ednovate sponsored tools for students and staff.

Safety & Privacy

No uploading of private student or staff information (unique identifiers, i.e. addresses, phone numbers, emails, etc).

AI Flexibility

Understand that we are all learning, that tools & uses are changing quickly, and that policies will evolve over time.

AI Accountability

(Human in the loop) Ultimately humans are still accountable for things created in AI. You must check for errors, biases, etc.

Clarity

Be clear about expectations of AI use in assignments or tasks, understanding that it is hard to monitor use.
