Halloween Celebration On 10/31, we will celebrate Halloween. We will start the parade at 8:55 and then we will go right into our party. Please have students come to school, dressed in their costumes with school clothes on underneath because we will not have the time or space for each child to take turns in the bathroom to change. NO weapons, masks, props, masks or gore are allowed. If you would like to watch the parade, you are invited to stand in the courtyard between the cafeteria and the upper playground.

Timeline Classbook In Friday Folders each student has a timeline template on. Please complete these by Tuesday 11/14 so we can share and make a class book!

Literacy

Book Fair The book fair is coming to Kyffin! We will be previewing the book fair on Friday! More information on the book fair to come! There is also a preview of books available in Friday Folders.

Ending Morning Snack/Recess In order to increase our literacy instruction, starting 11/6 we will no longer have our morning snack/recess so students will only need to pack 1 healthy snack. We understand this may be a transition and appreciate your support in providing your child a healthy breakfast before school.
