What is it?

“A Way Home” is a kiosk-based service to help the homeless. With a supporting app for volunteers, it helps prevent people from sleeping on the streets and ensures they have access to essentials- focusing on gaining a permanent residency.

The public will be able to donate £1 via contactless payments or scanning the QR Code on the kiosk - this will go to funding the charity.

The Brand

  • For our brand we wanted to illustrate a welcoming atmosphere and a symbol of hope - therefore we chose a home as our Visual Marque and “A Way Home” as our name.
  • Orange is the ribbon colour for awareness of hunger and homelessness, so we thought it would be fitting for our brand.
  • Nanum Gothic was a clear, easy to read typeface suitable for users.
