Purpose of the project

The aim of the project was to program Pepper, a robot to explain to elementary school students what hearing is interactively without boring them but involving them.

“Are you able to program an artificial intelligence mechanism to add value to human relationships?”

Our customers were three girls of the Montessori primary school in Trento: Maria Vittoria, Matilde and Alice.

Process

The first day we did an interview with the students of the Montessori school and after the interview we researched for our project and how to program Pepper.

The second day we did another interview with the students of the Montessori school to get more ideas and we also did the script and the storyboard.

The third day we began programming Pepper and we started to do the presentation.

On the fourth day we finished the presentation and we finished programming Pepper.

The fifth day we finished to edit the video.

Solutions

  1. We tried not to ask them complicated questions but simply to make them say their own ideas without pressure and try to put them at ease.

  • We ask the teacher to help us to program Pepper.
