BRAVE SPACE CONDITIONS
Patience: Slow down to prepare to go far.
Openness: Take some risks and practice vulnerability. Keep an open mind.
Listening: Listen to understand not to respond.
Empathy: Try on new perspectives. Stories shared here stay here.
Today’s Goal
Purpose:
Our breakout and share out structure will ensure that this community conversation allows time for individual feedback and a chance to hear others’ viewpoints.
Fair Process
Healthy Engagement | Genuine Dialogue |
Understanding | |
Personal Responsibility
Compassion | |

Polite discussion and guarded conversations
Resentment | |
Deflect, resist, and retreat
Judging, blaming, or discounting others' experiences, serving as interrogator/accuser |
Adopting “Both/And”
We can feel respected
And still not agree
The Solution: When we understand, we actually win.
