This is my year 15 at Da Vinci, I have been with the district for 20 years. I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Los Angeles. I Moved to Davis when I enrolled in UC Davis to do my undergrad in sociology and Spanish Literature.

LATE/MAKE UP WORK:

  • Assignments or exams missed because of EXCUSED absences are to be made up with one week of the student’s return to class. Late work will receive a 40%. Also, any test or culminating assignment NOT made up on time will be recorded as a ZERO in the gradebook.

Cell Phone Policy

● Cell phones need to be put into the classroom holder at the beginning of class.

● You must ask permission to use cellphones in class.

  • You are allowed to listen to music with headphones only during “student work time”. You are not allowed to listen during presentations or any group instruction time.

​

  • Misuse of cell phones or headphones will result

in loss of privilege and the device will be surrendered to the main office.
