هذه المرة الثالثة آتي إليكم على فم شاهدين و ثلاثة تقوم كل كلمة. قد سبقت فقلت و أسبق فأقول كما و أنا حاضر المرة الثانية و أنا غائب الآن أكتب للذين أخطأوا من قبل و لجميع الباقين: أني اذا جئت أيضا لا أشفق. اذ أنتم تطلبون برهان المسيح المتكلم في الذي ليس ضعيفا لكم بل قوي فيكم.
This will be the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established". I have told you before and foretell as if I were present the second time, and now being absent I write to those who have sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare -- since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.
لأنه و ان كان قد صلب من ضعف لكنه حي بقوة الله. فنحن أيضا ضعفاء فيه لكننا سنحيا معه بقوة الله من جهتكم. جربوا أنفسكم هل أنتم في الإيمان؟ امتحنوا أنفسكم. أم لستم تعرفون أنفسكم أن يسوع المسيح هو فيكم ان لم تكونوا مرفوضين؟ لكنني أرجو أنكم ستعرفون أننا نحن لسنا مرفوضين.
For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you. Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? -- unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
و أصلي إلى الله أنكم لا تعملون شيئا رديا ليس لكي نظهر نحن مزكين، بل لكي تصنعوا أنتم حسنا، و نكون نحن كأننا مرفوضون. لأننا لا نستطيع شيئا ضد الحق بل لأجل الحق. لأننا نفرح حينما نكون نحن ضعفاء و أنتم تكونون اقوياء و هذا أيضا نطلبه كمالكم.
Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified. For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete.
لذلك أكتب بهذا وأنا غائب لكي لا أستعمل جزما و أنا حاضر حسب السلطان الذي أعطاني إياه الرب للبنيان لا للهدم ( 2كو 13 : 1 – 10)
Therefore, I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction. (2Co 13 : 1 – 10)

Conscience Put to the Test
أيها الأحباء، ان لم تلمنا قلوبنا فلنا ثقة من نحو الله. و مهما سألنا ننال منه، لأننا نحفظ وصاياه و نعمل الأعمال المرضية أمامه (1يو 3 : 21 – 22)
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. (1Jo 3 : 21 – 22)
لأن فخرنا هو هذا: شهادة ضميرنا أننا في بساطة و إخلاص الله لا في حكمة جسدية بل في نعمة الله تصرفنا في العالم و لا سيما من نحوكم ( 2كو 1 : 12)
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you. (2Co 1 : 12)

فتفرس بولس في المجمع وقال: "أيها الرجال الإخوة إني بكل ضمير صالح قد عشت لله إلى هذا اليوم." (أع 23 : 1)
Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, "Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day." (Act 23 : 1)

فأجابه يسوع: "ان أول كل الوصايا هي: اسمع يا إسرائيل. الرب إلهنا رب واحد. وتحب الرب إلهك من كل قلبك و من كل نفسك و من كل فكرك و من كل قدرتك. هذه هي الوصية الاولى. وثانية مثلها هي: تحب قريبك كنفسك ليس وصية اخرى أعظم من هاتين". (مر 12 : 29 – 31)
Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12 : 29 – 31)
المحبة لا تسقط أبدا. وأما النبوات فستبطل والألسنة فستنتهي والعلم فسيبطل. لأننا نعلم بعض العلم ونتنبأ بعض التنبؤ. و لكن متى جاء الكامل فحينئذ يبطل ما هو بعض. (1كو 13 : 8 – 10)
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. (1 Co 13 : 8 – 10)

لأني جعت فأطعمتموني. عطشت فسقيتموني. كنت غريبا فأويتموني. عريانا فكسيتموني. مريضا فزرتموني. محبوسا فأتيتم إلي. فيجيبه الأبرار حينئذ قائلين: "يارب متى رأيناك جائعا فأطعمناك أو عطشانا فسقيناك ؟ (متى 25 : 35 – 37)
For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;. I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?” (Matthew 25 : 35 – 37)
