ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Our internship is a very selective opportunity for college aged women looking to expand their skills. This is a dual internship/mentorship program. You will have access to opportunities to work alongside CEO Ruby Asabor, get mentored and connect with major brands and girl bosses.

We believe that the best way for an intern to learn from a company is to be involved in business decisions and creating content. To ensure that you are benefitting from hiring, we are taking the time to find individuals that are already proficient in their field and show the potential to grow.

2. Cover Letter

Once you are done, submit the following email to assistant@lavishruby.com

in the following format:

Subject of email: Summer 2020 Internship Application – First Name, Last Name, Positions applied for

Example: Summer 2020 Internship Application - Ruby Asabor, Kean University, Business Operations, Influencer Relations

Body of email:

One page cover letter; why you would like to be a part of our team, why should you be chosen to advance you to the next round of interviews? What skills do you have that may be of use to your specific position interested in. (Each position applying for requires a different paragraph)

Once you have filled out the Summer Internship Application, and sent in the email above, you are now considered an Internship Applicant. You will get a response on June 2nd . You will then schedule a time for a video Interview on either June 3rd or June 4th.

3. Video Interview

After Reviewing applications, a select few applicants that we felt would be the best fit for the specific position will be advanced to speak directly with the CEO, Ruby. It is during this interview that Ruby will determine if you are hired or not.

Please be professional, and be ready at the time given.

Step 4: Let the fun begin!!!

If chosen you will be invited to our Internship Orientation/ Welcome Party on June 15th, 2020 at 1pm

When you finish the internship, you will have the option to negotiate with the Entrepreneur to take on a paid position or take what you’ve learned to start your own company!

Only people that have completed the internship program will be have an opportunity/ a position to work for the company!
