1 - Log in to Renaissance
2- Click on Accelerated Reader 360 and select Record Books & Goals from drop down.

3- Click on Student Goals
4 - Select a marking period
5 - Select students and then click on the blue box to set goals.

6- A box will pop up. Make selections from each drop down. It is suggested to choose “Each student’s best test this school year” in the first box.
For the next three boxes choose the best fit for your class. Click on “Apply” when finished.
7- Look over the goals and decide if you want to make any adjustments. For example, if you see that a goal is too high or too low for a student you can manually adjust it. When you are finished, click on “Save Goals.”
YOU TRY!
Set AR Goals for 2nd or 3rd trimester. Remember you can ALWAYS go back and change them.

There are MANY ways to group students. Using the STAR Screening report is just one way to quickly screen your class and group by STAR Reading levels.
1- From the Renaissance home page click on reports, and then choose Star/Assessment from drop down.
2- Open Star Screening Report

3- Make appropriate selections for your class or group of students. Make sure you select the most recent screening period. Scale should stay on Star Enterprise and Benchmark type is District. Check the boxes if you want to show GE and test location. Click Update Report.

Students can track their progress by clicking on Accelerated Reader (orange box)
And then clicking on Progress (trophy)

Younger students will see a flower that illustrates progress. Older students will see a chart.

When a student reads a book in myON, they can click the orange button to go directly to the AR quiz.
If they click out of the screen and cannot remember which book they read, they can click on the icon by their name,
then click on activity
This will bring up the last
books the student read. From
there they can click on the
book and the orange AR
button will come up again.

Teachers can recommend books by creating a bundle. Students can access the bundle in their library under “Recommended”
Teachers can assign books to students using the Project function. Student can access the assigned books in the “Projects” folder.

Projects (Easy Way to Assign Books to Students)
Click on Classroom and
then Projects
Select +Create New Project
Projects
Title the project either class name, or group name.
Then click Save

After a project is titled, books can be added to it. When searching books, hover over the book to enable this tab
After clicking info, this window will pop up. Click on the folders.
Projects will appear in the dropdown. Select project name and then save

To assign to students click on Classroom, then projects
