  • Summarize passage
  • Analyze tone, diction, imagery of passage:
    • What impact did it have?
    • If you changed it, what difference would it make?
  • How does this speech give us an insight into their character?

  1. What is your final evaluation of: Troy? Rose? Their relationship? Troy and his sons? (cite your evidence)
  2. How does the final scene change our perspective on Troy?
  3. How do you interpret the final narration about Troy and Gabriel’s last line? How would you portray this if you were the director of the movie?
