We work with third party Duty Free specialized (bonded) warehouses in Europe, Miami and Singapore as part of our services.

Through distribution hubs in Hong Kong, Dubai and Antwerp the distribution hub companies purchase directly and sell to the operators at the price recommended by DFG/brands.

This ensures that the global rsp’s are respected. DFG’s commission is calculated on the short price invoiced to the distribution hub partners.

Brand owner sells and ships directly to customer e.g. Heinemann. DFG receives a commission on the sell in price to the operator.

Barry Geoghegan

Founder

Irish born and based Barry Geoghegan is the owner and Commercial Director (CD) of DFG.

He started in the wine and spirits industry in 1989 and obtained the WSET Diploma in 1995. In 2001 he was one of only ten people in the world to study for the first ever Wine MBA in Bordeaux Business School obtaining first class honours.

Barry has recently been invited onto the Duty Free World Council Academis Advisory group and was also just elected to the TFWA Management Committee where he sits on the Commercial panel.

His family has been in Duty Free business for over 50 years.

Barry focusses on company strategy and concentrates his travel in the Middle-East and Asia-Pacifc.

Nathalie Roelands

VP Operations

Born in The Netherlands, based in Belgium, Nathalie Roelands finished her studies in Public Relations and Communication Management in Antwerp in 2007 and straightaway started in Duty Free and Travel Retail business, now with over 16 years experience in the channel

Nathalie is the VP of Operations for DFG

Nathalie’s main focus is looking after all the Global Key Accounts including Dufry, Lagadere, Heinemann etc.

Her main focus is on Europe and Global Key Accounts.

John Kilmartin

VP Sales

John Kilmartin is an internationally experienced Travel Retail Executive with over 30 years experience in the Travel Retail channel. He has dual experience having worked both with both operator “Aer Rianta International” and Sales and Marketing with Patron Spirits International.��With ARI he held a number of Senior Leadership Executive roles in Commercial Operations, Business Development, Procurement and Supply Chain, in Locations as diverse as Russia / CIS and North America.��He left ARI to Spearhead and to lead the expansion of Patron Spirits International as Vice President Global Travel Retail the expansion and development. John led the GTR Division where he was at the forefront in setting Patron’s international expansions strategy and developing Patron Tequila into a truly global brand within GTR.��John lives in Switzerland and main focus is in Central and Eastern Europe/Russia CIS.

Brenna Klomp

Operations Manager

Originally from the Netherlands but based in Dublin for over 20 years, Brenna joined Duty Free Global in Feb 2024 as Operations Manager.

She brings with her 18 years’ experience working in various roles within the drinks industry, most recently as Sales Service & Operations Manager for an International Brand company, prior to that she worked alongside Barry and Carmel in the Irish Wine & Spirits market.

Aisling Morton

Commercial Brand Manager

Aisling is based in Dublin and joined us as Commercial Brand Manager in September 2021.

�Aisling previously worked in the wine business in Ireland as a key part of the Commercial team.   Prior to this Aisling worked as a Business Analyst in L’Oreal.  ​She is currently completing her ACCA Accountancy exams.

Kathleen Anaya

Key Account & Trade Marketing Manager Americas

Based in Miami, FL, Kathleen has over six years of experience supporting brand development and commercial growth across LATAM, the Caribbean, and U.S. travel retail.

She managed strategic customer relationships, coordinated

multi-market operations, and supported the execution of trade marketing plans that strengthened brand visibility and performance within the duty-free and travel retail environment.

She worked closely with distributors, retailers, and brand partners to ensure consistent implementation of global strategies, adapting them to regional needs while maintaining operational excellence.

Kathleen is the newest addition to the DFG team, joining in the fall of 2025 as Key Account Manager.

Niklas Muethel

European Key Account Manager

Niklas joined the team in 2022 as European Key Account Manager.    ​�Niklas was Purchase Director with Overseas Distribution Company and prior to that Category Sales Manager Liquor in Gebr. Heinemann.​

He brings a wealth of experience to the team at DFG.

Gaurav Joshi

Sales Manager India

Based in New Delhi, India, Gaurav Joshi brings over 22 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on the Global Travel Retail sector. Having started his career in tobacco , Gaurav went on to spend the next 17 years working on some of the most iconic brands in the alcoholic beverages industry. His expertise lies in transforming brands within the Travel Retail space, with a proven track record of driving growth and market success across the Asia Pacific region. Over the years, Gaurav has held leadership positions that have allowed him to develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior and brand strategy in dynamic and competitive market sector.

Ben Geoghagen

Commercial Associate

Ben is based in Madrid, Spain and joined us as Commercial Associate in January 2024.

Ben previously worked in Salesforce as part of the Business Development team.   He has recently completed his masters in Marketing from Smurfit Business School.
