GRADUATION ITEM DISTRIBUTION
12
Wednesday, June 8, 2022
Immediately Following Graduation Practice #1
Prior to this practice, seniors must turn in all school-related items, including:
Any items not turned in prior to this practice will constitute a “deficiency,” resulting in some/all items being held until the deficiency is resolved. After this date, all deficiencies must be resolved through the Main Office.
Tables will be set up behind the Stadium home bleachers in order for students to pick up their graduation items including their cap, gown, stole, tassel, cords, and any other club or activity awards or honors . If you do not receive a cord or award you feel you should have earned at this time, please contact the club or activity sponsor to resolve these issues.
Please note that all students MUST pick up their cap, gown, stole and tassel and sign for these items. These four items will NOT be handed out to a friend, a neighbor, etc. If a parent needs to pick up these items for their child, please email the Senior Class sponsor in order to make an appointment to do so. Balfour staff will be available during this time to fix any issues, so please inspect your items to make certain they are intact and correct. Seniors should ensure that they have their cap, gown, stole and tassel before they leave for the day. Seniors are expected to wear their gowns and stoles (no caps or tassels) to the Senior Awards Ceremony on June 12.
Cap and Gown Care
Please remember to take your graduation apparel home. Store your gown and stole on a hanger. Do not leave it
crumpled up in your locker or in the trunk of your car.
CAUTION: The gowns are made of polyester and great care should be taken if you attempt to iron it to remove any wrinkles. The material will scorch easily.
GRADUATION WRISTBAND DISTRIBUTION

Why do I need wristbands?
The ceremony will be held outside in the Stadium if weather permits. In the unfortunate event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the Main Gym.
Should the ceremony take place indoors, wristbands are necessary. Students will be issued 4 wristbands (tickets) that will allow for entry into the gymnasium.
Additional guests will be able to view the graduation ceremony live from the Auditorium, Library or through our live stream link.
Graduation wristbands will be distributed on June 8th - no earlier. Please note that all students MUST pick up their wristbands and sign that they have received them. No wristbands will be handed out to a friend, a neighbor, etc. If a parent needs to pick up wristbands for their child, please email Mrs. Allis in order to make an appointment to do so. All outstanding deficiencies must be cleared prior to June 8 to receive your wristbands. Any wristbands not picked up on June 8 will be held in the Main Office.
** Wristbands will not be distributed to Seniors who still have deficiencies. Please resolve those ASAP and then see Mrs. Allis **
