Day One

Mind Mapping, a technique used to visualize and organize the exploration of a specific idea. It also helps to record our thinking procedure (process) and mind flow. It starts loose and gradually become systematic. Ultimately, it aims to help come up with good interventions to problems.

Unfortunately, I have to spent some time to fully grasp it, because my mind is not used to start “loose and big”.

Research is nothing particularly new to me but I am still surprised to know how important it is to include precedences when doing research in Parsons.

Brainstorming is one method to form broad ideas when attempting to solve a problem. This broad concept-forming-process is also known as Ideation.

Day Four

Storyboard: Again, not a new concept to me. I’ve done a lot of storyboard during my undergraduate years. At least I thought so…

Apparently, storyboarding for products is very different from storyboarding for animations. The focus is no longer solely on the content but on both the product and the pseudo-user-experience. I need to include how users are expected to use and react to your product or solution to sell my ideas.
