• There are relations between open education and open science
• These two fields/goals are addressed/organised differently in each institution
• The role of libraries and librarians in this also varies widely

- applies OS principles and practices to courses & assignments

- shares slides, course outlines, assignments (OER)

- provides/develops tools that support OS and educational workflows

graduate schools:

- stimulates collaboration and implementation on integrating OS in courses

- sets expectations / learning goals
