Too Much Text

26 of 42

Full of Bullets

  • Sometimes Slides have lots of bullets on them with sentence or phrase after sentence or phrase.
  • This can make it difficult for the audience to read.
  • It can also make it so that attendees just read ahead and then get bored.
  • Presenters have a tendency to read slides that are full of text and bullets instead of presenting the material.
  • Images are often missing from slides full of bullets so they do not engage the audience.
  • Too many bullets often means too much text and a small font size that can’t be read by the audience.
