I saw a monster

It was as tall as a tree

With eyes that shone bright

Staring at me

It was hungry I think

As it licked it’s lips

It’s teeth were very yellow

Like the spines on its back

Six legs it had

Three toes on each

And two little hands

That couldn’t quite reach

The monster’s manners were truly quite mean

Lucky for me it was only a dream
