LIVINGSTREAMS (CHOIR)
Mission:
The main function of the choir is to be the “show and tell” of worship. It takes the initiative, it inspires, it helps, and it leads.
“They shall stand every morning, thanking and praising the Lord, and likewise at evening, and whenever burn offerings are offered to the Lord on Sabbath, new moons and feast days, according to the number required of them, continually before the Lord” (1 Chron 23:30-31).
LIVINGSTREAMS (CHOIR)
Our Duties: Drawing from the principles of the music ministry at the Temple.
• We have been called as ministers of music who minister on the altar to the Lord in music.
• Like the Levites, we are to minister the word to the people through our music which is:
• God-glorifying, with lyrics which are rich with the wisdom of the word of Christ and affirm the congregation in God’s Goodness and Righteousness
• We are to be set aside and ordained for this ministry.
• We must sanctify ourselves and prepare our hearts before worship.
• The choir is responsible for more than making music. It has potential for being a dynamo of spiritual energy in the worship life of the church.
• Choir members too seek to improve musically, through practice and voice training.

VISION: TEENS CHURCH
The teens ministry is called IT which stands for Issachar Teens. Its vision is taken from the scripture in 1Chron 12:32 as follows:
1. To raise an army of confident youths who are filled with the Spirit of God, understand the times, know the best course to take and hence can lead others.
2. Raise teens/young adults who are well grounded in their identity in Christ, know who they are and based on this knowledge, can navigate the peculiarities of this age successfully.
3. Raise teens/young adults who will be relevant in their generation (kingdom agents in Babylon), custodians of the precious faith of our Lord Jesus Christ and able to pass the baton to the next generation.
MISSION: TEENS CHURCH
The IT vision will be achieved through teaching, training, exemplary behaviour, and spiritual impartations via the following means:
TEENS CHURCH: Where we want to be
Our goal is to grow the students to a stage where they begin to
1 Teach others
2. Lead classes
3. Serve effectively in departments in the wider ministry
4. Effectively evangelise to their peers
5. Take up leadership positions in the wider world, shining as a light for the Kingdom of God.
TEENS CHURCH: What we need
1. Vibrant teachers leading exemplary lives, who are skilled at communicating with and engaging young people.
2. Our dedicated Issachar Teens space with audio visuals set up e.g. wall-mounted TV screens to facilitate teaching, worship and engagement.
