  • Which team will my child play for based on his/her age?
    • Baseball Age is based on how old the player is on April 30, 2027. Aug 31, 2026 (softball)
    • Example: Player A was born Jan 11, 2013, even though as of today they are 12 they will be 13 before April 30, 2027 so therefore they must play 13u
    • Grade exception (Ex. if Player A is going into the 6th grade the player can play down to 12u)

  • Can my child play up?
    • Short answer- Maybe. All players will tryout based on their birth age, depending on where that player scores relative to their age group and the next higher age group, they may move up, or may not. Parents must request for their player to try out for a play up.

  • Can my child play football/soccer while playing Wave?
    • Absolutely. When you check-in at the tryouts, our rep will ask you if your player will be playing dual sports. This is so that we can ensure that we have enough players to play during tournaments.

  • What if I cannot make a tournament?
    • No problem. We typically have enough players to cover for a missed tournament.
