- This year we will be covering the foundation and the development of the United States from its start to the early 1900s. (When)
- We will be looking at the different experiences and narratives of people in the United States who have shaped our present day. (What)
- We will celebrate the achievements and contributions of Native Americans, African Americans, Chinese Americans, Mexican Americans, women and those who fought for freedom and justice in the early beginnings of our nation. (Who)
- We will critically examine and discuss the oppression and systemic injustices of racism and white supremacy that came from the nation’s early beginnings and have become pervasive to our present day. (How)
- Through our conversations and understanding of the past, we will identify antiracist ways that individuals and groups can work together to make progress towards justice and equality. (Why)
- You will have one day for each day of absence to make up missing work
- It is your responsibility to check in with me for make-up work and to turn it in on time
- You must check Google Classroom when you’re out of class

- Late work is graded LAST, please be patient after you submit
- To retake an assessment you must show evidence of:
- Completion or re-do DIN for that unit
- Play a round of Blooket
- Retakes are at teacher discretion
