Google Slides Templates for Online Teaching

Please feel free to copy and paste these templates into your own google slides files, and customize them for your teaching. This is just a starting place; we hope you will tell us about your creative adaptations and new ideas!

To copy the entire slideshow, you will need to be logged into your gmail/google account. Click Sign In.

While open to this file and signed in, click File > Make a Copy > Entire Presentation. Rename the file and save to your google drive.

Slides can be shared with students directly, or can be utilized and manipulated in real time during lessons through screen-sharing.

This can be used to create interval flashcards.

This can be used for rhythm activities. Each circle represents a beat, and then the lines represents how many sounds are in each beat (pre-notation).

This is an example of a “musical snippet” generated through the google slides add-on “Flat for Docs.” To get this add-on, click Add-ons > Get Add-ons, and search for Flat.

This can be used to generate note flashcards, or short note patterns, intervals, key signatures, triads and inversions, scales, etc.

Here is a more expanded version with pre-made ledger line notes.

This basic keyboard template can be used for notes, intervals, half steps and whole steps, 5-finger patterns, scales, chords, etc.
