What behaviour do we want to promote?

Let's write together our CODE OF HONOUR

in five teams (2 Pc available), one for each following Work Habits (see next slides):

a) find and write a Slogan, advice, statement;

b) write an additional Commandment ("do that /do not do that..., behave , be...") a definition;

c) write an Example in action, visible;

d) finally find a Symbol and draw it as a Logo

  1. Responsibility & Motivation (Ownership)

The student:

  • fulfills commitments within the learning environment
  • completes and submits class work, homework, and assignments according to agreed-upon timelines
  • takes responsibility for and manages own behaviour
  • set goals, identify our strengths and weaknesses, �collect a series of strategies to help us acquire knowledge, �use those strategies, monitor his progress
  • keeps pace with change, conscious that we must always be learning
  • accepts that you must take action or make a change, doing away with excuses for not performing
  • identifies strategies for learning, his strengths and weaknesses, challenging himself towards a permanent self-improvement

Slogan: don’t worry and be responsible

advice: being responsible and motivated is difficult and complicated but when you learn you start being much more autonomous and many people will count on you. it can be achieved through time, help and commitment.

Commandment: Trust yourself and the people that surround you supporting them in what their doing and never doubt of them.

Example: Responsibility is the commitment to respond to your actions and to the other ones, while motivation is putting all your energy in an action . If you are part of a band, it is your responsibility to learn the songs and practice enough to perform well. On the other hand, motivation is what carries on the work until the end when you have to perform..

II. Organisation (Method)

The student:

  • devises and follows a plan and process for completing work and tasks
  • establishes priorities and manages time to complete tasks and achieve goals
  • identifies, gathers, evaluates, and uses information, technology, and resources to complete tasks
  • uses means/tools according to his aims
  • finds the reason to act first and foremost in his own spirit

Using Tools Interactively:

• The ability to use knowledge and information interactively

• The ability to use technology interactively

Slogan, advice, statement:

As a compass, organization must be followed because it’s giving you the right direction

Commandment:

Less stuff you have, easier is to organize

Example:

You have to save money, buy what you need and not on a whim, otherwise you will have things you don’t use.

III. Independent Work (Autonomy), Self-regulation & Perseverance

The student:

  • independently monitors, assesses, and revises plans to complete tasks and meet goals
  • uses class time appropriately to complete tasks
  • follows instructions with minimal supervision
  • sets own individual goals and monitors progress towards achieving them
  • seeks clarification or assistance when needed
  • assesses and reflects critically on own strengths, needs, and interests
  • identifies learning opportunities, choices, and strategies to meet personal needs and achieve goals
  • perseveres and makes an effort when responding to challenges.

Acting Autonomously:

• The ability to act within the bigger picture �• The ability to form and conduct life plans and personal projects �• The ability to defend and assert rights, interests, limits, and needs

Slogan, advice, statement: KEEP CALM AND WORK INDEPENDENTLY

Commandment: You have to try to work independently and to behave your life

Example: Self-regulation is when you work without any help and when you are able to manage yourself.

IV. Collaboration (Team)

The student:

  • accepts various roles and an equitable share of work in a group
  • responds positively to the ideas, opinions, values, and traditions of others
  • builds healthy peer-to-peer relationships through personal and media-assisted interactions
  • works with others to resolve conflicts and build consensus to achieve group goals
  • shares information, resources, and expertise and promotes critical thinking to solve problems and make decisions

Interacting in Heterogeneous Groups:

• The ability to relate well to others

• The ability to cooperate and work in teams �• The ability to manage and resolve conflicts

Slogan, advice, statement:

The solution of creation is collaboration

Commandment:

Trust others and let others trust you

Example:

Collaboration is helping each other, to give others all of you also if you don’t have nothing.

The student:

Commandment:

ALWAYS USE YOUR BRAIN, BECAUSE IT’S YOUR ENGINE

Example:

PROBLEM SOLVING IS WHEN YOU MAKE A MISTAKE AND YOU OVERTAKE IT.
