About me!

This is my year 14 at Da Vinci, I have been with the district for 18 years. I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Los Angeles. I Moved to Davis when I went to UC Davis to do my undergrad in sociology and Spanish Literature.

Professionalism

Students show the ability to submit complete and timely homework/work that meets the expectations of academic and professional settings.

Learning Mindset

  • Students will complete activities out of the textbook, oral activities, a handout or an exercise that I post on Canvas.

PART II

Curricular Literacy

  • Students can expect a grammar/vocab quiz every 2 weeks. Unit tests will be announced (dates are posted on the board and on Canvas.

Oral Communication

  • Students will have informal and/or formal oral presentations through out the units. These presentations include vocabulary/grammar related to the unit being studied.

Make-ups:

  • Assignments missed because of EXCUSED absences are to be made up with one week of the student’s return to class. It is up to the student to request any missed work; also, any assignment NOT made up on time will be recorded as a 40%. Finally, zeros may now be given on designated culminating assignments/tests that are not submitted/completed.
