Mrs. Disch Open House 2025
My daughter is at WPI, my son is UMASS Lowell, & my hubby is a chemist.
This is my 1st year teaching at ARRSD but my 7th year teaching STEAM. Prior to that, I was a K & 1 teacher for many years. This is my absolute DREAM job!
What happens in STEAM?
STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Students will be given design challenges and in partners, groups, or individually, students will creatively solve problems. Each time, the process will include the following steps: Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, Test/Improve, and Share. Be on the lookout for a Seesaw link to connect to your child’s digital portfolio where they will post the results of their thinking and learning in STEAM.
OUR SHARED VISION
Students in all STEAM classes helped create a list of classroom expectations.
