What is Rose Rank and File (RRF)? bit.ly/RoseRankAndFile

  • Originated out of “NYPL Branch Staff at Home” group that started during COVID
  • Named after the NYPL’s Rose Reading Room & the phrase "Bread for all, and roses too" from Helen M. Todd's 1911 "Getting Out the Vote" speech.
  • Broad vision of RRF is to foster community and solidarity among all Local 1930 rank and file members, Branch, Research, and BookOps workers alike.
  • Current goal: elect a new Executive Board
  • Sometimes union leadership gets in the way, but the ultimate opponent is management. -- Joe from Labor Notes
