• Introduced a multistep registration facility for general users
• OTP based registration verification

• Introduced a multi-type and multistep form for worker’s beneficiary application submission.
• Instant worker’s ID verification through the National Identity Verification System and Labour Information Management System(LIMS)
• Instant beneficiary dependent eligibility check.

The Challenges & Way Forward

UI Issues & Responsiveness

• The UI Design allows the system to be used only on a laptop or desktop. It does not fit well on mobile devices.
• Redirection to the list view after saving or editing is unavailable, resulting in an unfriendly UI for general users. So the traditional system’s form design has been skipped and a custom design implemented.

Mutation Response Challenges

• Calling a mutation, the system returns a fixed response, which is challenging for our customized work. For example, if we need ID of the inserted record, we need to query it again.

Document upload Issue

• The system does not have a dedicated way or tool to upload documents. We overcame this problem by building a document-uploader API for the Beneficiary Module.

Printing Template Issue

• The system does not include a generalized printing model. It needs a placeholder where the template can be passed and printed.

Location Issue

• The location module allows entering only four levels of location. However, many countries, including Bangladesh, have more than four levels of geographic segmentation. The location module must allow n-level of location segmentation.
