  • Learn to accurately shade Grey Scale.

  • Learn pencil shading techniques to carefully, accurately and neatly shade using the whole value range.

  • Learn all the names for the parts of light and shadow and demonstrate these in the practice and finished drawing.

  • Learn to work progressively through the project, demonstrating incremental skill development and focus on a sustained project.

  • Learn to use the whole page in setting up a dynamic composition

  • Learn proper care and respect for personal work, keeping work flat and free of folds and wrinkles.
