What would you like teachers, principals, and other school staff to know about your experiences as a Queer student in CCSD?

Include quote from HRC Regional Summit for Mountain states that was trans student who identified as a boy at birth who presented at a student panel. He was at that time, estranged from their parents. “My mom wanted a little boy to play with my brother and be his best bud, but it turned out I was not what my mom wanted.”

Relate this back to how this type of rejection impacts the quantitative data and the qualitative data.

As you can imagine, these societal rules governing gender, gender expression, and sexuality, both spoken and unspoken, can have a pretty profound effect on Queer people in general, but more specifically, our Queer students.
