Ekaterinburg was founded in 1723. It is a major city in the central part of Russia.
Situated on the eastern side of the Ural mountain range.
Ekaterinburg city is famous for its theaters (Opera theatre, Drama theatre,
Academic Musical Comedy Theater).As for other paces of entertainment, there are the Zoo, the Circus.
In the city are churches, monasteries and museums (Bazhov’s House-Museum,
Municipal Museum of Ural Writers, Geological Museum, Art Museum, Museum of Nevyansk Icons).
