Title I Funds-Parent Involvement [Federal Funds]

Why Is This Important?

  • More Title I funding allows school to pursue a greater number of options for the benefit of the students: tutoring, class-size reduction, resource teachers, nursing, counseling, guidance assistant, software programs, etc.
  • For 2023-24, there will not be any meal applications*. All students, regardless of their family’s income will have the option to eat school meals free of charge.
  • The district will be collecting LCFF Alternate Income Forms for all students. These forms will help determine Title I eligibility for schools. Please make sure to return these forms to ensure the school receives the appropriate entitlement.

*A small amount of schools will be required to submit meal applications and those schools were notified by Food Services.
