Student Evaluation
Term Mark: The term mark will be based on evaluations from the four categories:
Knowledge/Understanding = 30%
Application = 30 %
Thinking = 20%
Communication = 20%
For a total of 100% which will be weighted for 70% of the final mark.
Summative Evaluation: In a typical year the end of the course would also include two summative evaluations:
An In Class Culminating Evaluation = 10%
A Final Exam = 20%
Of the final mark.
** For Quadmester #1 and #2 there will be no final exam. The final mark will be based completely on the term mark.

Grade 9 EQAO - 2020-2021
We will let you know more information as it becomes available to us.
In 2020–2021, EQAO will be field testing a multi-stage adaptive online Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics.
Prior to taking the Grade 9 assessment, students have the opportunity to become familiar with its format through an introductory session. During this session, students will have access to a sample test comprising multiple-choice questions from previous assessments.
