Pros:

  • Security & backups taken care of
  • Wordpress Analytics only�

Cons:

  • Wordpress ads on your website
  • Can’t upload 3rd party themes
  • No 3rd party plugins
  • Can’t use your domain name 4 free

Pros:

  • Can continue to use after graduation
  • Loads of educational & other plugins
  • Security & backups taken care of
  • Hosted in Canada

  • Cannot use for commercial purposes (promoting yourself ok)

  • Can use your own domain name.

  • Apply security patches yourself.
  • You have to pay for web hosting.
  • You need back it up yourself.
