Overview

With National Geographic Society’s long-term effort to increase accessibility in mind, I aim to pinpoint opportunities for enhanced accessibility in the Explorers onboarding courses.

4 of 16

Background

The current Explorers onboarding experience involves four 30-minute online courses:

Orientation, Ethics and Integrity in Action, Understanding Unexamined Bias, and National Geographic and You.

The courses are hosted on NovoEd, an online learning platform.

Background

The Explorers Capacity Development team is currently revising the Understanding Unexamined Bias course. This serves as a natural opportunity to brainstorm and execute new components that will potentially increase learning accessibility for Explorers.

Different levels of revisions for the other three courses are also possible.
