Read through the objectives. Using the internet, answer the questions in the prelab. Then look at the following slides and videos to attain your data for the lab.
Station 2A
The burning Bunsen burner is shown to the right. Click on the picture to watch the video.
Station 2B
The magnesium metal is shown in the picture to the right. Click on the picture to watch the video.
Station 3A
The sodium hydrogen carbonate before heating is shown to the right. Click on the picture to watch the video.
Station 3B
Water with sodium bicarbonate is shown in a bin with electrodes in the picture to the right. Click on the picture to watch the video. Be sure to look carefully at the electrodes during the video.
Station 4A
Ethanol is placed in various glassware and lit on fire. Click on the picture to watch the video.
