Specifically, her suggestions on what leadership can do to be mindful, aware and act on these sometimes latent issues has been most insightful. Driven from personal experience, the sharing is highly relatable to how leaders can maximise their most strategic investment, investment in people.

Radha Raman, Senior Director, Commercial Business at Red Hat

I have had the privilege of attending multiple events where Uma took the stage. A captivating speaker, she weaves together insightful perspectives with her own personal experiences, creating a compelling narrative that resonates deeply with her audience. Uma's profound understanding of the need for a fundamental shift in societal perceptions of gender, in order to transform the trajectory of women and girls, is both evident and inspiring. Furthermore, her ability to ensure that her audience not only listens but also leaves with actionable takeaways sets her apart as a speaker on any stage.

Khatija Aslam, Founder of Moxy

Whenever an audience tells you time passed by so quickly you know a great speaker had made a difference to the experience. This is what Uma brings with her each time. Uma has spoken to our DBS Lean In Community on several occasions and her consistent delivery that demonstrates her authenticity, confidence and plenty of wisdom sharing inspires all of us.

Dane L, Executive Director at DBS Bank

There are few people that can truly pause, reflect and give deep authentic responses. Uma is one of those rare individuals.

As a speaker, she has the courage to be vulnerable and has the quiet confidence that made her an amazing guest on the Happy Sales podcast. Her journey, the way she holds her space was inspiring and unique. It was a honour to collaborate with her on an episode and I have no doubt she will go on to do even more amazing things.
