Case Study:
Sales Incentive to Rome
Program: Sales Challenge
Location: Rome, Italy
Property: The Westin Excelsior, Rome
Attendees: 70 couples
Situation: The client needed a special incentive for their B2B sales team. They wanted to see different parts of Italy but did not want to move hotels during a 5-night trip.
Action: Using Rome as a home base, we built an agenda including the main attractions in Rome, plus a day trip to Florence using the high-speed rail, and an optional day trip to Pompeii and Sorrento.
Result: Clients were extremely happy with the program, and, to this day, some attendees talk about the trip as the best they’ve ever done.

Sales Incentive to Puerto Vallarta
Program: Sales Excellence
Location: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Property: Grand Velas, Riviera Nayarit
Attendees: 240 couples
Situation: After signing a contract in 2019 for the 2020 program, COVID caused multiple rounds of rescheduling. The group also grew from 175 couples to 240 couples.
Action: We worked with the hotel to reschedule the program four times and negotiated a nominal fee for all the changes.
Result: People who have attended many prior trips stated that it was one of the best Sales Excellence programs ever. The attendees gave the trip 99% Excellent or Very Good in the post-event survey.

Sales Incentive to Reykjavik, Iceland
Client: Brother International
Program: President’s Club
Location: Reykjavik, Iceland
Property: The Reykjavik EDITION
Attendees: 80 couples
Situation: Original contracted hotel that was scheduled to open before the trip, notified us a few months before the trip that construction was not complete, and they would not be open in time.
Action: We negotiated an exit from the original hotel contract with no penalty for the client. We identified a 5-star alternative property and negotiated excellent rates and concessions, including early check-ins for those with overnight flights.
Result: An extremely successful program with rave reviews for the property, the destination, and A-Plus.
